Featuring a selection of live cases from the Mount Sinai Health System’s Reconstructive Valve Center, interactive case-based learning, and didactic lectures, the annual Reconstructive Valve Symposium’s aim is to improve patient outcomes by enriching surgeon knowledge in the complete spectrum of the pathoanatomy and surgical treatment of mitral valve disease. Cardiac surgeons at all levels will develop an in-depth insight of the decision-making process and surgical techniques necessary to achieve a durable repair for a wide variety of mitral valve pathologies
