Allan E. in the cockpit after the FAA approved his return to flying, post surgery.

2019 Update

Dear Drs. Adams and El-Eshmawi,

Here is the photo I promised. The FAA has approved my return to flying. I have not won the lottery yet, so our golf junket is still on hold. Thanks again.

Sincerely,

Allan E.

Dear Drs. Adams and El-Eshmawi,

It has been almost three months post surgery and I want to thank both of you for taking outstanding care of me. I feel great and have started to play golf again. I expect to be more active as soon as my cardiologist starts me on a rehab program in May.

I would also like to thank Dr. Ben Salter, Dr. David Bronheim, Dr. Sudhan Nagarajan, Dr. Boteng, PA Alex Tabone, Terry King, Nurse Erica, Jose Lopez and numerous physicians, nurses and other staff members. Everyone at Mount Sinai worked as a team to reach a successful outcome.

Due to the FAA regulations, I cannot return to flying until 6 months have elapsed from the date of surgery. I will forward a photograph of the airplane (and me) as soon as I get back into the cockpit.

Hit'em long and straight Dr. Adams.

Sincerely,

Allan E.
