Aortic Stenosis: Issues in Diagnosis and Management

Symptomatic aortic stenosis (AS) is often untreated because of the risks of surgery in these largely elderly patients. Drs. David H. Adams, Robert O. Bonow, and Susheel K. Kodali discuss the appropriate selection of AS patients for intervention and the potential role of investigational transcatheter therapies.
