Co-directors David H. Adams, M.D., and Alain Carpentier, M.D., Ph.D., will be joined by an esteemed faculty of surgeons and cardiologists for an interactive program of surgery, presentations, and discussions for cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologists and cardiologists.
Providing a broader scope and educational format different from the former Carpentier Le Club Mitrale, this CME-accredited 2-day course includes both live surgeries and discussion of pre-recorded cases. Surgical techniques for valve reconstruction and replacement will be presented for mitral, aortic, and tricuspid valves. The role of echocardiographic assessment, as well as indications and techniques for adjunctive and future therapies, will also be included.
